Something is wrong with this group. This was worse than the UCLA game a couple of years ago.

He was in the sideline huddle right before our offense took the field, camera stayed there as they broke and went onto the field and he walked away dejectedly back to the bench. His body language was not good.

Looks like BK has some unhappy players in the locker room that he needs to get figured out.

While I dont disagree with his sentiment, he just has to be smarter than this.

Honestly, he should have played. Hilton and Anderson need to be used on offense more. Only playing Anderson for 6 plays was stupid. The 2 most creative plays had Anderson in the game. Coaching was the biggest disappointment of the game.

Man the overreaction after one game is a LSU fan tradition
Look got outcoached and out played but its the 1st game.
This whole program learned a lesson and that is from the
top down just showing up does`nt win games.Fla.St was on a mission ,LSU was going through the motions.I never thought
a BK team would ever have that attitude going into a game
but there it was on Sunday night.
I like BK as HC and think he will right the ship but in
BR negativity has sunk many a ship.

Folks stayed frustrated and irritated with BK when he was at Notre Dame too. Sumbich aint well-liked that’s for sure. Hell Mrs. BK can’t stand him either - thinks he’s a real peckerhead jerk. Buyer’s remorse here too

ETA: what does it say to high school prospects if Kelly is just going to bring in 1 year guys every year to start over the young guys?

FSU just did that and beat us

LSU baseball team did it. We don’t win the National Championship without Skenes, Hurd and Tommy White.

I don’t disagree that it sucks but that is who you have to compete against to win

And when it works and you win, everyone loves it

I was wondering the same.
We kept getting reports how Nuss was linking up with Hilton on long passes, behind the defense, by Tiger Bait.
He may be the only player on the team who is faster than Jackson.

Jayden literally can’t read anything else. He can occasionally hit an RPO pop pass but nothing over the middle will be open for him. He needs guys running wide open with 10 yards of separation and even then he underthrows them

It amazes me how many people do not understand that bad play result does not necessarily equate to bad play calling. So much is dependent on QB reads, execution, and timing.

You don't see Hilton or Anderson more in the game because JD can't get the ball to them. It's that simple. If you can't see it I don't know what to tell you. Both Hilton and Anderson are burners and since JD doesn't understand the concept of accuracy, air under the ball, and throwing WRs open he'll never be able to top a defense off to these guys on 40 yard passes.

So Hilton suffers because of JD's limitations. JD would noodle arm it to him every throw. Anderson was wide open for a TD other night and what did JD do? Noodle arm it.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm wondering if Sampson and Brown might get nervous. You know the Big schools will be offering.

The JD fanbois only accept criticism when ALL aspects (including the weather) are perfect but JD still misses.

I don't like the whole parent's view thing. Of course the parents are upset when their baby doesn't play. It would be hard to not come online and vent as a parent watching that. But you have to resist it. Glad he deleted the tweet, but as we all know, once you put it out, there is no going back.

I always hated it when Stingley's dad would go on media outlets and spout for hours about his kid. Even when he was playing bad his dad would run interference for him and pontificate why it's the team's fault.

I understand the locker room may have problems. But parent's need to avoid taking to social media to bash the coach or teammates. On every level. Even peewee level.

Hankton doesn't use much of a WR rotation. Noticed it last year. He has his guys and sticks with them.

I agree that Lacy has proven he cannot reliably catch the ball. How long do you continue letting him kill drives? Other guys deserve a chance. Would love to see some deep shots to Hilton. Those throws seem non-existent in this offense.

The Coaching staff, BK, bears some responsibility. He over hyped this team all off season. Apparently he gave Daniels some instructions on improvements that he needed to improve his game. BK, never once indicated it didn't work. In fact Songy and another Tiger Bait reported a couple weeks ago that Daniels was the same as last season.
Ranters got pissed at Songy for telling the truth. BK had them convinced we had an improved QB.

Coach should definitely give Nuss an opportunity when Daniels is struggling, falling behind in games, three non productive series in a row. Running backs are substituted, wide receivers, every other position. Nuss and Daniels are close enough in talent, it warrants at least some experimentation, at least when Daniels is struggling. Nuss had the higher passer rtg last year.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe Hilton drops twice as many passes in practice as Lacy. In that case, it would be crazy to switch them out.

Put Lacy on the fricking bench. Tired of this bullshite from him.
That may fly at ULL, but it's not the standard here.
