I don't know about you, but I'm seeing anger here. I'm kind of angry myself, and part of it is I don't know all the facts.
Thing is, I might still be angry even after everything comes out.
I am not angry, either the kid did not think he had a shot here and wanted to go else where or our coaching staff thought he was no longer suited to play in this offense/team and released him from the team.
Nothing for me to get angry about really, either way whatever happening one party or the other believes it is best for the program.

if this was our decision we have to be getting some good vibes from lee's camp and the dodgers

Or Les is really as dumb as I think.

It's retarded to cut a guy even if you don't think he's going to be a starter. Not everyone starts, some players provide depth; Les should know this after the terrible QB play the last couple seasons that resulted from a lack of depth. It's also retarded to cut a guy after his Freshman year. The kid still has 4 years of eligibility left and should be far from his potential.
This is just another occurrence that highlights the idiocy of the current coaching staff.

i just assume it's a done deal that he's coming to LSU based on this

Saban signed a Juco QB but he never saw the field.

Looking at the situation two years from now makes me...
Pretty sure Lee will be pitching hardcore by then. How the hell is he going to tackle Baseball and Football, especially if hes LSU's starting pitcher...hes likely going to have to devote to one sport. Man, this fricking sucks, jesus.
Les, still hasn't learned his lesson from RP or his OL recruiting.

the bottom line is that Miles and crew know far more about this situation than we do. if Garrett got cut because he couldn't handle it then so what? he'd be struggling to beat out walkons if he can't hold down the 3rd QB spot.
Exactly...........one can pretty much assume that a kid ON CAMPUS practicing with his future teammates has an open relationship with his FOOTBALL coach............This is all we ever here from recruits and players about Miles right?
So now when we see a move made in which a scholarship qb loses his scholarship because of "various" reasons, we go into meltdown mode........???
Why is this so crazy? B. Bailey was 6'4 188 his SR compared to CG who was 6 4 240..........2 years and some workouts and he probably plays around 220........one was a 4 star and 1 was a 3 star.

I'm gonna be waiting for more info in the morning.
Posted on 7/9/10 at 12:08 am to BilJ
snake posted his info two days ago...he wasn't suspended, so I am sure he will be back to remind everyone what he posted...I should have had Dhillip contact the SID to get the skinny...

HOLY shite. You really want a RS Sophomore WALK ON to lead LSU in 2012? Come on, you're better than this. It's one thing to be a Miles Maniac, but this is pushing it to the extreme.

Yea wasn't he from Hawaii? That dude sucked

I trust that Les can get us straight though.
and why is that?
shite, Chris Garrett looked promising.

He left on his own. He committed here because he saw at the time that Jefferson wasn't beating out Lee and LSU has a commit from QB Shepard, who he knew wouldn't stay at QB. Therefore, at the time of his commit he had only to beat out Jarrett Lee who was throwing INTs left and right. He assumes JJ had his chance and was behind Lee already. when JJ beat out Lee and JL hasn't transferred, the addition of ZL and Les' comment about him being 1st rd NFL hurt CG's feelings. So in his eyes, he's got no shot until 2012 when he'll have to compete with ZL whom he feels the coaches already favor.
Remember, he didn't go to MSU because Tyler Russell was going there. He doesn't want to compete. End of story.

Hold up when did I say this? And B. Bailey isn't some ordinary walk on..........he was a 3 star local qb at U high on LSU's backyard that chose to come here and compete..........
It's not like he was some pothead who decided who could translate his ps3 skills to the gridiron.
I'm not a Miles Maniac..........but I'm not freaking out over a recruit getting beat out but a player of similar talent over a 2 year span.

Garrett high tailed it when he heard J-Rock was coming back to play his final year at LSU.
