I am changing it to pro-trent because pro-johnson sounds ghey. With that being said, I am pro-trent.

I was a manager on the basketball team for one miserable semester while Brady was the head coach. Not only is Brady a beliggerent dickhead but he is not a good coach. Case in point is when LSU couldn't even break the press used by UAB in the NCAA tournament. There are high school teams that could have broken that press.

Trent Johnson appears to be a good person and is a helluva good coach. I would give him a pass on this year. The team is pretty young and the roster was depleted after last year. Give Trent Johnson a few years and LSU will be a perennial top 25 team.

One year after winning the SEC? Pro-Johnson of course. In 4-5 years if he hasn't done anything else, then it would be time for a poll.

Same here. One could call it the 3-weeks-til-baseball-season-starts-side.

Nothing against basketball and the people who enjoy it. I've just lost interest in the entire sport over the past 10-15 years. Give me a sport that's played outside instead.

I am very optimistic about the long-term future of LSU basketball under Trent Johnson.

Against bama, not breaking the press led to 3 straight turnovers and three straight baskets. Broke the game open.

Pro LSU.

If he doesn't get our program, in a competititve mode, he'll have to go next year. He has no clue about recruiting, otherwise he'd have known what to expect this year. Does that guy think he coached up the SEC Champions of last year? They were "ready made," and he did NOTHING to replace the lost talent. I know he couldn't precisely replace the team, but his recruiting was so very poor.

As for rebuilding, with freshmen, he's asking for too much of a wait. The fans don't seem to like TJ's approach, and his attitude sucks.

By the time he proves his worth this thread will be long gone and everyone will have claimed die hard from jump street. So in a sense this is worthless.

But for the record, I'm Pro. He wasn't my first hope because his name really wasn't floated out there as a possibility, but I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

this isn't a powerhouse basketball team. Every couple of years we make a nice little run and people are excited. I'm not discouraged at all. Trent Johnson is trying to get some good recruits that he can develop and it'll turn around eventually. Give it time
