LSU is going to scissor kick The Barn in the head and have Ontario McSideline running backwards just to get to the magical white line on either side of the field.

I have to agree with the OP. Even if Aubbie is terrible, they've beaten LSU when they weren't supposed to in the past, and this year the game is a Jurden-Hair.

Auburn was bad in 2009, terrible in 2011, and looks worse in 2012. I still believe they were an average team at best with a rental game changer at QB

Yeah in 2010 they were a very flawed team. I don't think they'd fare very well other National Champions of the 2000's. Chizik's whole tenure at AU has been abysmal save that year when some boosters stepped up to the plate and bought themselves some crystal

Wtxtiger--I respectfully disagree with your desire to see Chizik's career at Auburn end. I would think that a true LSU fan would like nothing more than for Chizik to stay at Auburn for the next 10-12 years. After all, he won't be able to buy a all world quarterback and defensive lineman very often (if ever again) and it is obvious that Chizik needs that for his team to be competitive.

this ...thanks

You can't hide no running game and poor QB play. I thing Auburn's defense starts out fired up but unless their offense moves the ball by the end of the 2nd quarter it will be over.

Key for us is to not give them points--pick six or special teams. Unfortunately for Auburn our special teams has been pretty good and we don't tend to fumble the ball. Les will have us ready to play---looking forward to SEC play.

Auburn has no shot. LSU rolls easily.

The past has no effect on this years game. Auburn's defense is and has been a joke the last three years and the QB couldn't start for any other SEC team this year. Probably not for many Sun Belt teams for that matter. I can't recall ever seeing a supposed 5* QB suck like this guy and I almost feel sorry for him. Almost.

LSU can name their score. IMO

Hopefully that score will be 59-0.

A true LSU tiger fan will always want another program to go through a coaching change. Remember when we went through coach x and coach y and coach z. It was the worst time in tiger football. Changes like that are often unsuccessful, unless Auburn could attract a big big name guy, which I doubt. If they could, why did they end up with Chizik in the first place???

Don't get all worried because you remember a pretty good Auburn program of 5-10 years ago

How about 2 years ago when they won a national championship? Yes I know Cam Newton was a monster that game and beat us himself. They were still had some talent all around.

Other than that I agree with you, this AU team is not the same

The worst think AU could do to itself is run Chiz out of town. He has some sick talent coming in and they have to transition to a new offensive philosophy.

Don't laugh. I wouldn't put it past Slive. The dude seems like a weasel. It's a known fact that nobody outside of the SEC wants to see a repeat of last year's BCSCG. That means that one of us has to fall at least once, in addition to the head to head loss that either we or Bama will get.

Knowing the trouble we've had with the officials when we play at Auburn, I can't help but expect some home cooking tomorrow night. It might not be enough for them to win the game, but it will happen nonetheless. Hell, they even did it to ULM!
