John Chavis has to feel vindicated that he stood firm on rejecting the Les Miles clause in his contract. Regardless of how that affected his dalliance with the Aggies while still coaching LSU its hard to blame him in retrospect.

A&M sucks. How is he winning again?

Well let's see. He has a job right now. If he accepted the Les clause, he wouldn't. Seems like winning to me.

Good use of prescient in the title. That's all.

Wait, what? Last time I checked, Les is still our coach, and other than the media making up stories with pretend sources, there's no hard evidence to support Miles NOT being here next year.

He would still have a job.

I doubt Chavis would have screwed up the last 3 games like Steele has done, and we wouldn't be discussing Les going anywhere, sitting at 9-1.

He still looks like a quitter to me as does his linebacking corp from last year.

I thought it was the other way around?

Chief wanted guaranteed money in contract if Les was fired/retired, and Alleva wouldn't accept that.

So IF this comes to fruition, Chief would get his salary for 2 years while sitting at home.

Nobody said anything about winning. It's about job security and he obviously made the right decision. Had he stayed, he would be unemployed next season.

Chavis did what's best for him.

I don't like how he handled leaving, but why he left was valid.

If I were him, I'd probably tried to find somewhere else to land because sumlin is gonna be in the same boat as miles this time next year.

It's kind of ironic that he kind of fricked LSU in the way that he left, and now all of you are rooting for LSU to frick Miles in getting rid of him.

Strange times... strange times indeed.

yeah, not going to look good going 0-4 against a coach that got fired and makes less money.

How is LSU fricking miles by paying him to leave? This is not a normal job. This isn't fedex. Miles gets fired, he is taken care of.

You get fired other places, you don't get shite. That's getting fricked.

Your terminology of "fricked" is truly disingenuous.

How much better do you think Chavis is?

Take away two field goals and a touchdown from our opponents in all 3 losses and they are STILL LOSSES.
