I’m glad someone said it. I posted in another thread how losing miler and cheat was huge, if all goes to plan with transfers and recruits along with the returning players you have 8-9 kids who we are thinking can play. But you don’t account for if the freshman are ready, if ya missed on a couple transfers, and injuries like Reed last year. Having depth with, let’s say, 11 guys, Gives ya someone who can come in for injuries, and make up for the guys who aren’t ready or ya just flat out missed on in the portal. Michigan State’s bench is scoring more than their starters this tournament. They are in the sweet 16 by depth alone. Think back to the games this year we had a lead at half or where neck to neck with, how many did we get gassed out in? Imagine having competent people you can count on off the bench to hold a lead? Depth automatically adds a few wins, if your starting five ain’t dogshitnof course

The athletic department is for sure paying people to post here.
They have that plus their errand boys like lady scone and hunt to run their narratives all day.
Then you have the real hardcore Mcmen like pirate

Oh I’m convinced Moscone is one of like 3 people on here, might be all of them, just his alters lmao

The lady has been busted before ripping topics for shows right off the board.
I’m sure he has alters running all over posting shite.
It makes sense TD is the biggest busiest board so the AD and our weak local media is going to come and try to push narratives.

nah.
here is what is happening. fans are stupid. and fans always want to fire all coaches. part of what motivates fans to want to fire coaches is actual failure, and part of it is they like to imagine they understand X's and O's really well so it makes them seem smart to call out the coach.
so for those reasons fans love to be irrationally angry and righteous about firing coaches and they react to people not being as angry as them with outrage. its like they are having their coaching analyzing skills questioned, and they don't like it.
its like when people pretend to like modern art. hating coaches is a way to signal sophistication about a sport.
there are folks who are not knee jerk calling for every coach to be fired every moment. they are not paid by anyone, they are just not pretending to know the ins and outs of practice and personality and injuries and finances etc.
I agree that there should be results or coaches should be fired. but we are in a very unique moment here where what brings wins is changing. LSU appears to be arguing they underfunded the team and it wasn't coaching. I cant rule that out and I don't think any of you can either.

He couldn't lose vyc Miller.
He showed so much potential. I'm mad about this. The team has no shooting.

Oh I know Moscone post on here cause just like on his radio show when people have an opinion or disagree he starts yelling like an idiot and calling them stupid. And he’s always right, just like with the Bruce underwood thing telling people if you think he’s not a lock for LSU your pretty much dumb. And that’s just one of the many things he has been wrong about.

All of his theories are being or have been proven false so now he’s just insulting everyone who tried to explain why his ideas weren’t valid.

He’s now saying Vic Millers game just didn’t translate to the SEC after calling him a sure fire NBA player earlier this season.
Posted on 3/28/25 at 3:57 pm to Madking
Ya on his show his words were, I watch NBA and rarely watch college basketball, but after watching g Miller the other night I can tell you this, that’s a future NBA player

Just another example of him not having an ounce of credibility

but this sort of player is becoming obsolete. everyone needs to be able to shoot. 4 of 5 players on the floor have to be shooters or the spacing cant work.
Watch Houston. They have been tremendous over the last several years with 6'7 - 6'8" forwards who aren't great shooters, but are ferocious on the glass and defensive end. Houston lets their guards shoot. The forwards attack. Coincidentally, several of those players have been from the New Orleans area.
Yes, if you want to be a team that wants to space and shoot, Chest may not fit. But effort and rebounding is never obsolete in CBB

You must not actually watch college basketball. Those guys are obsolete in the NBA but they still carve out careers in college on many winning teams.

yes, the beauty of the tournament is the contrasting styles. there are some that still play a little differrent and have success. princeton or Purdue with edey and Houston and virgina defense or tamu as rebounding enthusiasts. or bama with their drive and dish paint touch 3 obsession.
for the most part to run a modern system everyone needs to shoot, and even usually the big. houston does what they do, so its possible but I think most teams need shooters. and all NBA teams need shooters.

astute readers will note I said "becoming obsolete" which is not the same as obsolete. you would have a great point if I said they don't exist in college.
it may take a long time for this type of player to become totally obsolete because the player pool in college may never have enough shooters. the NBA already does. (I know edey and gobert are good players, there are exceptions, but most teams are basically all shooters)
naz Reid is the future, emit Williams is not.
