How amazing would it be to have Creighton, whose home park is TD Ameritrade in Omaha, and LSU make it to Omaha, only to see LSU fans outnumber them 35:1, and you know we will

It's happen once before in 1991 and you know who won it all.

They made it one year. It was fun. They were on the other side of the bracket, so not hard to root for them. But, I agree with Josh336.

I’m cheering for the CWS go book 311 (Omaha natives all) to perform between games. Would definitely make the trip if that were to happen. Not holding my breath and may go regardless if we make it.

Last time both LSU and Creighton made it to the CWS, we won it all, so I'm cool if that is the end result once again.

What? LSU fans would outnumber a private, Jesuit school whose enrollment is <5,000 students in a state comprised of 99.9% die-hard University of Nebraska fans.

You'd be wrong. If a Creighton-LSU game crops up in Omaha, the crowd will be overwhelming in favor of the Bluejays.

June 3, 1991 Creighton vs Wichita St was one of the most entertaining games ever at the CWS in front of a record crowd of 18,206 at Rosenblatt.
One of the highlights of the game was probably, with respect to Ray Wright, the greatest defensive play I've ever witnessed.

OP is very dumb, this would be very very bad if LSU makes it to Omaha. If Nebraska, Creighton Or Omaha ever makes it to the CWS, they will be the overwhelming crowd favorite. LSU will take a backseat.

Ahhh, Doug Mirabelli. I used to watch him play for the Shreveport Captains before he made the majors. Went on to win the World Series with the Red Sox.

I'm from Nebraska and it would be awesome to see Creighton make it. The fans are pretty loyal to the instate schools. Since Nebraska didn't make it everyone would be on the bluejay ban wagon and I'm sure they would sell out. But...LSU fans are awesome and I think they would still outnumber Creighton fans if the two teams met up
