Went to it. Forgot it was in December. All I remember about December 2001 is seeing all the Tennessee fans walk in the Georgia dome with roses. Was a sweet night

Long time ago. A game with University of Miami was cancelled because of a hurricane. It was made up on the first Saturday in December.

It was a fun night.

I was still in the Army, and I just got home from a six month deployment in Kosovo, so I went from seeing 0 games in person to attending these three:

Nov 23 Arkansas
Dec 1 Auburn (de facto SEC West Championship)
Dec 8 Tennessee (SEC Championship)

Those two games might have been the most fun back-to-back LSU games I've experienced. Beating Auburn in the play-in game for the SEC Championship Game and the shocking everyone (especially the cocky Tennessee fans who have never recovered) to win the SEC Championship knocking them out of the national championship game.

Was there. Spurrier, I believe, beat us easily.

Lit up cigars on the field on Dec 1, 2001.

That still ranks very highly as one of my all-time favorite games, despite all of our success since then.

December 5, 1964. LSU vs Florida was delayed by a hurricane . Steve Spurrier came into Tiger Stadium and picked the Tigers apart 20-6. There was no snow but it was miserably cold and windy.

I was there in 2001 but we arrived late. We literally walked in just in time for the onside opening kickoff.
