Definately. Magee embodies everything the tradition of wearing the #18 stands for. He's earned it.

Pretty much what I'm thinking. In reality, Jacob Hester was the first guy to really create the tradition, as Matt Mauck was basically just a coincidence of wearing 18. Magee embodies so much of what Hester stood for. He's not the fastest guy or the most athletically gifted guy at his position on the roster, but he always runs hard and does the best with what he's been given. He's played wherever the coaches have asked him without complaining or transferring because of lack of playing time or because he was switched to another position after being buried in the depth chart. He also seems to be an extremely mature player and a leader, which is pretty evident by Les bringing him to media days this week and some of the comments he made at media days. He seems to have a great head on his shoulders and would be one of the more deserving players to wear 18 I can think of. He's a great representative of the school, his team mates, and the program. I'm glad LSU has a leader like that on a team with so much youth on the offensive side of the ball. I think he's going to be very helpful to the team as a mentor to those very talented, but very young players.

That would make me, him and Brandon Taylor happy.

Frank town with two 18's would be cool.
