Dumb question. I support LSU. I am an alum and life long Tiger fan.
I want the best for the football and all athletics as well as academics.
Can you honestly say O is the “best” we could do?

I'm pretty sure every time some idiot says "baw" a puppy dies somewhere

Passively in this base. I’m not riding yet but it’s looking to not be as stupid of a hire as it sounded at the time. Still need more time to see since Ed hasn’t really had his own recruiting cycle yet and still has a lot of Miles’ players. I’m optimistic though

Who doesn’t? But if the lemons are bad so is the lemonade.

Nope. I still believe LSU could do better than a journeyman d-line coach. A 3-4 loss season with a 30 point blowout and loss to a sunbelt school hasn't changed my opinion of him. I'd rather have a head coach with a quantifiable history of coaching success. As a coordinator, as a head coach. Rather than a guy who has to defer everything to a revolving door of coordinators.
Things can change. Beat Bama, get to Atlanta, play in a New Years bowl game or get into the playoffs. Then I'll buy in and admit I was wrong. Always rooting for the Tigers to win every game. We'll see over the next couple years.

In unless J. Winston is coming I don't see what the big deal is really.

I support O because he’s the HC st Lsu. I wasn’t crazy about the hire naturally but imo he’s shown he can be a winning coach since he took over. If O can consistently win 9-10 games eventually he will catch a break and win a title. That’s what Jimbo has done. One year with one loss, one year with two losses, the rest 3-4 losses. And he just got 75m

t's a crying shame this thread topic is receiving so many down votes. What a loser fan base Tiger Nation has become.
Because not everyone feels the need to fellate Coach O

Yep. The negativity and frick this, frick that, frick you, do no one any good and just makes us look like a bunch of whiny children. This is certainly not to say "accept" anything, but we should support our program and the coach....whether he was "your" choice or not. As I posted a few days ago...IF recruits or their family check this site...it has to work against us.
