I know he’s been throwing for a while. Would be nice to add him to the bullpen for the post season. Is it too late?

I'm not worried about Shores. I'm more worried that Noot isn't showing up here and there.

Damn. There goes my fantasy of him returning for the post season pumping 98 at the back end of our bullpen.

I know it’s nice to think but it’s probably not true. Guys coming off major injury usually aren’t very sharp when they come back, as we’ve seen with Coleman and Noot over the past 2 years. Postseason isn’t really the time to experiment with guys like that

Next year Shores, Noot, Cam Johnson, Moffett and Kade I feel 3 of these players will have a huge roll next season. I really hope shores is fully healthy he could be our Ace.

Noot honestly not sure what’s up with him he was highly touted, I know he had Tommy John surgery but rehab seems to be slowed.or Jay just said no need to rush which is logical the way we’re pitching

Cam Johnson has shown flashes but looks like Moffett did year one. Just needs some reps in college and better command of his pitches. UNREAL POTENTIAL.

Moffett I think has a huge chance to be first out the pen next season his stuff plays. His off speed pitches have drastically improved as well as his control. Walks were way down this year per ratio compared to last year

Kade has Friday and Saturday night stuff reminds me of Jump with his fastball being elite. Still don’t understand why he doesn’t get more opportunities on some weekends. But next year he will be squarely in the mix.

Very good pitcher but he is a freshmen and has not been ready for sec play.

Agree for the most part but you didn't mention Herring? How come?

Jay mentioned something about him injuring his ankle a few weeks ago. I think he probably wasn’t ready to pitch when he went out there against Vandy and they just decided to take it slow.

Hadn't heard that. If it's true then that's much better than what I was worried about.

Yeah it’s too late. Pitching isn’t like riding a bike. It would probably take Shores most of a season to get the feel back.

I’m assuming he means next year since he’s draft eligible.

You got any line on who will start tomorrow?

I was thinking Little or Dutton and swap out if the starter isn't throwing strikes.

Don't let the batters see Dutton twice, though. He's a once-through-the-order max kind of pitcher.

I wouldn't mind Johnson though. Or even Hurd hoping he finds his groove now as we head into the postseason.

I missed this, does that mean he’s just shut down in terms of he won’t pitch in a game this season or is he not pitching at all?
