"No one" may be overly broad.

YOU don't care. I buy that.

Missouri fans cared I guess

The board didn’t buzz about it.

There's a lot of significant stuff that the board misses. The board-brain-trust had Burrow pegged as a non-elite college QB for most of the time Burrow has been at LSU (not the entire board, but most)

Youve been here like a year and half.

You’re not exactly an expert.

Also Missouri was 7-6 so how significant want that record?

My assessments of Burrow have been spot-on. Your's? Not so much

1. I’ve always been a big Burrow guy, and said we need a good OC for him to reach his potential.

2. This isn’t a QB evaluation.

You seriously believe that how long you have been on a fan site determines the level of your football acumen?

What user name does Belichick post under?

Again this isn’t a QB assessment.

My point was that Lock broke this impressive record and people on here barely talked about because no one cares about Missouri.

The fact that you weren’t on the board at the time is highly relevant to that discussion.

And my point is the all-time SEC passing TD is a quality stat regardless of whether a microscopic sample of football fans buzzed about it or not.

Get over yourself.

Can we talk about how Drew Lock set that record and just no one cared?

He was doing it against shitty teams.

7 against Missouri State
6 against Idaho
5 against UConn
5 against Arkansas

However, he did have 4 against Georgia.

It’s impossible to deny. I didn’t even realize until this thread.

You didn’t either

So what.

Most college football records have to be looked up to be certain. Doesn't make them any less significant.

He was also doing it with a very small fraction of the talent all around him that the QBs on elite SEC teams enjoyed.

If OBJ was in this offense...he would have set some unbreakable records imo.

Sports is about opportunities. What if Faulk went to SAN Diego and Ladainian went to Patriots where he was only used as a 3rd down back...and Faulk was used as a feature back in SD with that talent and offensive coaching? Lots of what ifs in sports.

How many SEC QB's got to play against Missouri State, UConn, and Idaho all in one season?

Burrow claiming that record in route to Heisman and Natty would, without question, be more significant than Drew Lock holding it in complete anonymity haha

Wasting your breath Sammy. I totally get your point yet it’s like it’s some abstract Physics concept he can’t grasp.
