TDS in a season record for LSU is 12

Chase is at 10
Jefferson 9
Marshall isn’t out with 8

Let’s put this in perspective

We are 9 well distributed TDS away from 3 WR tying the LSU Record in the same season....

Good stuff, Sammy

And in this offense, the RBs and TEs are a huge part of the passing game. What is the SEC passing TD record? Must be getting close to that record.

Single season SEC record is 44. Joe is at 33 right now. Its possible just 4 TDs a game from here.

Right, 44. Drew Lock did that in 13 games so 3 per game would do it.

Can we talk about how Drew Lock set that record and just no one cared?

Imagine Marshall with a full season. What a stacked top 3:

1. Chase
2. Marshall
3. Jefferson

Sure. You go first. (I don't buy your premise)

You need to double check your math there.

My first thought is he got $4,427,450 in fully guaranteed NFL money. The 56.9% completion rate didn't seal the NFL deal. The SEC TD record would have been a point of consideration.

That’s not insane money for a QB

He was a second rounder too.

He might have 6 games to do it.

$4,427,450 spends quite nicely whether it is sane or insane. And that is just the guaranteed money.

So, what's your point? You started the TD record discussion...

Bottom Line: I consider the SEC all-time Passing TD record to be a quality stat. You don't? No worries.

I do, I think No one cared when it happened at Missouri because it’s Missouri and he was probably throwing from behind every game and they are in the East.

It’s not the record it’s that no one cares about a lock and Missouri.

32 throws a game. Fairly normal. Burrow is at 33/game in '19
