LSU was sloppy all game. I felt uncomfortable before the game knowing we were such a heavy favorite -- lackluster play from a clearly better team. That's been a hallmark of the McMahon era

This game is so weird. Feeling great about this LSU team after a good win against KSU and now feeling like LSU is for a long night versus Pitt Friday night after this below par showing versus Charleston Southern tonight despite the win.

There are several reasons for nights like tonight, when your a young team your looking ahead, when consistency comes with the territory of being young. Or maybe Charleston played great and we played mediocre. In the end a win is a win.

Don’t worry about PITT, yes they are good, but our level of play will be far better than tonight. It’s easy to get up for Pitt, not so easy to get up for Charleston Southern in a half sold out arena on a Tuesday night. We will be fine
