"Holy Cow, did any of you guys hear that Chad Jones was involved in an accident??? "

I heard he was driving a VW.

I can't believe I said that. I hate the "germans" shtick more than anyone.

He will have a great staff taking care of him, probably the best Trauma MDs/RNs in the unit looking after him.

You seem to know something, what is the usual prognosis for an injury like this?

Damn, I hope not. It's already a terrible accident but to think it was because of such a terrible decision would be even worse.

quote:

Chad Jones' father Al Jones said his son was still in surgery as of 4 p.m. Friday as doctors at LSU Public Hospital work to repair his mangled left leg and ankle following an early-morning car accident in New Orleans.

The injuries include multiple fractures to the femur and thigh areas, as well as a large gash in his thigh that caused heavy blood loss.

“They told me the first part of the surgery went very well and now they’re trying to repair his lower leg because they were worried about blood flow to his foot and ankle,” Jones said.

Al Jones said none of the doctors he has spoken to have mentioned amputation.

“I guess that would be a last-ditch possibility, but they seemed optimistic that they have done enough to avoid that,” Al Jones said.

this is alittle late but i think all catholics well everyone should ask for the intersession of these saints. (please don't argue intersession on this board this is for the good of chad jones)

Saint Sebastian (patron saint of athletes)
Saint Servatus (patrion saint of against leg problems)
Saint Peter the Apostle (patron saint of against feet problems)
Saint Cosmas, Saint Damian, Saint Joseph Moscati, Saint Luke the Evangelist, Saint Panteleon,(all patron saints of physicians or doctors)
Saint Foillan of Fosses, Saint Roch (both patron saint of suregons)
where i found all my saints if you are interested

again i ask if you have a problem with this just ignore it the last thing we want on this thread is arguing about saints intercessions, so if you are catholic or you believe the saints intercede for our benefit then please ask these saints to pray for us

Indeed, I surely do not wish to speculate about that right now though. There's a time and a place for that.

ETA: someone already added the text from Rosetta's blog, no need to post it twice
