thanks for the info. Yeah the last thing we are worried about is his future sports career, but it would be a damn shame if he couldnt at least play baseball. I am sure sports has been his whole life since he was a kid.

He couldn't go into details. I don't like saying this but the talk was that he will not play football again due to his injuries but still may be able to pitch and play baseball

Well lets hope and pray for the best. He's in top physical form and he's a fighter. Hopefully, if that prognisis proves true he can be one of those that defies all odds and wins out in the end.

If he went to University, he was in the care of world-class trauma surgeons.

Sheer ignorance.

I'm sure the Dr. did a great job but saying the best surgeon in the country would be at one of New Orleans' shitty hospitals is a bit too much to believe

Chad Jones Reportedly 'Doing Well' After Surgery, Will Likely Keep Both Legs
Jun 25 2:56p by Joel Thorman

Chad Jones is "doing well" after a car accident put him into surgery Friday morning. Ross Brevosky, LSU's baseball director of operations (Jones played baseball at LSU), said doctors think Jones will keep both of his legs.

He reportedly fractured one of his legs -- and there were questions over whether doctors would have to amputate -- but the news from Brevovsky appears to be good.

Great news for Chad. Hopefully he is able to make a living in baseball. Didn't someone draft him fairly late this year just in case things didn't work out for him in football.
