On the Rant, you’re in the minority with that opinion.

This is getting comical. Best thing that could come of it is whoever is the 4 seed beat the brakes off of OSU

More wins over ranked teams. Wisky has 3 ranked wins and PSU has 2 I think

It’s all cyclical

I don’t think we are going to knock OSU off their perch regardless if we take care of business.
Others responses on this thread have mentioned “maneuvering “ in the current rankings, and the last few weeks have seen a rather dramatic departure from the AP and Coaches poll.
Big 10 teams are clinging to higher rankings after the top 4 in the 8-12 range, and bewilderingly, Cincinnati and Michigan dropped a single spot.
No further evidence can prove manipulation more than the inexplicable Alabama rank of 12. Just last week the experts were ballyhooing the Tide’s chances to join the party until they got nipped at Auburn. Now the drop to 12, with 3- two loss teams ahead of them and a 3- loss Auburn squad staring down at them. Does anyone believe Bama would be an underdog to any of those three??
The Tigers could wrap up this miracle season by running the gauntlet and leaving no doubt.

The CFP is manipulating the rankings to fit their narrative. Period.

Surely you can’t be this stupid. The committee had artificially inflated the rankings of Ohio State’s opponents to make the Buckeyes’ resume look better. Wisconsin jumped 4 spots for beating a highly overrated Minnesota team. It’s so ridiculous that they can’t even justify the rankings with an excuse that makes sense. Even SI is calling them out on it.

A&M would beat Cinci and probably Michigan

And PennState most likely.

Like it or not, Ohio State has wins over currently ranked...

8 - wisky
10 - Penn st
14 - Michigan
20 - cincy

They think that's better than LSUs...

9 - UF
11 - auburn
12 - bama

Problem is that they MADE it better with the bew rankings, nothing to do with thought. Minnesota, who OSU doesnt play, takes a huge hit but Michigan gets destroyed and barely moves. It's biased bullshite and it's made worse by the dipshit committee head being unable to lie without sounding like he has even glanced at the resumes this season.

If they want to put the top 4 the way they have them, do it. But don't make shite up and doctor rankings. Just own your decisions

The point is they’re using two different grading metrics for BOTH teams. They keep Clemson lN, based on history and style in recent wins —- not their schedule. Yet, OSU’s “strong schedule” is being CREATED post-season....so they can stay #1

How should they grade Clemson then? or are you suggesting they shouldn't be in? Their schedule sucks, not their fault, but it does, so they are #3, no one behind they=m has a better record so.....

But you’re not commenting on the obvious here. Bamas drop after the Iron Bowl compared to after the LSU game. Iron bow was on the road LSU at home and even if the logic is that LSU was better so the drop was less it isn’t a 10 spot differential. The only reason Bama was dropped so far is to hurt us and help Ohio State.

the situation is stupid. i KNEW osu would be first when i saw that cincy was still ranked.

auburn losses - fla, uga
fla losses - uga
bama losses - auburn

mich losses - psu, wisky
wisky losses - ill?!?!?
cincy losses - mem
psu - minn

there is NO COMPARISON between those two. and cincy drops off the radar after yet another loss to a g5 team

again, OSU'S BEST ROAD WIN IS INDIANA. btw, a&m is at 17 in the fpi whereas osu's next best win is msu at 34. what a joke.

They are. There is ZERO reason for them to be ranked at all. Who have they beaten vs who they have lost to?

The committee is favorably impressed by Michigan’s game control in that OT win over Army
