As they should. LSU's job is to shock the college football world

I'll never get the infatuation with who the TV sportscaster pick.

Who gives a shite it has nothing to do with the outcome of the game.

It's entertainment only

Do you blame them? My hope is we give a good fight and keep Bama on their toes, but in no way am I expecting to win. Can it happen? Sure, but it’s not likely.

I'd say that's a very safe pick. Not automatic, but safe.

Exactly... We're ahead of schedule and will be elite again soon. But, from 29 players and a back up w/r playing QB in a bowl game, new staff, to beating Bama is unrealistic. I'm hoping we win but not disappointed if we lose.

hey unanimously picked them over Texas and A&M too. Both were a play away this year from beating them.

Same as our miserable 2021 team at their house.

But in the end who won these close games like they always do? The gumps. Look I'm not saying we can't win but I am not as confident as some of you are.

Same here, but will be disappointed if we get embarrassed like we did against Tennessee.

To be expected. It's Bama.

With that said, they looked awful against UT. They couldn't do anything offensively and while I think UT has a good defense, it is not world-beater.

A&M had a good defense and no offense and almost beat them.

They have moved the ball on awful defenses, and their defense is nothing special.

Alabama has beat LSU in 10 of the last 11 games and LSU has scored more than 17 points once in that stretch. A decade of domination means there's no reason anyone should pick us

I mean I wouldn’t pick LSU if it was my job to make predictions. I don’t blame the talking heads for taking the safe pick.

It’s LSUs job to see this and get pissed and kick some arse.

I mean it’s like Bama -12.5 so taking Bama money line is pretty safe from an oddsmakers perspective.

They haven’t looked good on the road in any game the last 2 years.
