ARK 30
LSU 34

quote:

What’s Going To Happen

Just how much does the game time matter?

It might seem trivial, but sometimes certain teams feed off of routine and energy. LSU is used to playing prime time games and is a totally different animal when it gets to feed off the jacked up Death Valley crowd at night. It played one early game all season long.

The lone noon game was at home against Tennessee in a stunningly low-energy 40-13 loss. Granted, the team on the other side had almost everything to do with that, but the team has been different later in the day and at home.

This is the fourth noon kickoff for the Hogs going 2-1. That won’t be enough to pull off the win over the red-hot Tigers, but it’ll be enough to help make this a strong fight.

Just win baby. Doesn’t need to be pretty this week. Now they probably will need to blow out the Aggies. That thought makes me smile.

We are going to stomp a mud hole in the Hogs. Not really sure why people think it will be close.

If we held Alabama to 30 I’m sure we hold Arkansas to fewer.

I don't know what the outcome will be, but this looks like a hot take stretch. A noon game? Based on a sample of size of one? Kind of goofy. We played lackluster against Auburn at night. We played great against Ole Miss during the day. We played great against Alabama and Florida at night, and we played so-so against Miss. St. and not good against FSU at night.

As they like to say, "Whoopty-doo, what's it all mean, Basil?"

This whole "Trap game early in the day" thing seems very forced
Kelly said that they've practiced in 40 degrees and under and I don't see Arkansas filling that building up for this one
Give me the Tigers by 17

Before the Tennessee game LSU had been pretty good in 11:00 starts. The reality is it doesn't matter what time the game starts when you drop the opening kickoff...give up a 58 yard punt return...have your WR trip over the right tackle on what should have been an easy 4th down conversion...then unnecessarily go for it on 4th down inside your own territory.

Tennessee likely wins that game anyway. But LSU could not have gotten off to a worse start. It also didn't help that the staff wasn't convinced that playing #40 on defense was pretty damn important at that time.

Let’s see here. Bryce is far superior to KJ but somehow they’ll score more

CFN is retarded. LSU will have the best defense they have faced all year.

Arkansas lost 4 games
aTm 23-21
Bama 49-26
Miss st 40-17
Liberty 21-19

That’s an average of 21 points a loss with a high of 26.

I think LSU 27 to 31
Arkansas 17

Anyone saying trap game forgets that we aren’t being coached by a Clown anymore.

I also think we work on the ground game with a 60-40 run-pass split.

Same thing I said. So many people want us to lose. If anybody has paid any attention to Kelly and this team, they'd know one of their defining traits is being level headed. If anybody watched the free for a day "The Path" episode, during the week of Bama he downplayed the importance of the Bama game. Saying, "If we lose to Arkansas, it doesn't matter if we beat Alabama".

The facts are this,

- Arkansas's defense is horrible.

- EVERYBODY keeps saying that they think KJ Jefferson was playing hurt in the Liberty game which is why he didn't run much.

- KJ Jefferson isn't in the top 3 of QBs we've played this year

- we stopped Ole Miss's "vaunted" rush attack too.

Sanders will likely get between 100-120 yards with a TD or 2, but LSU is going to blow out Arkansas. Earlier I predicted 38-24, but I'm feeling more like 42-21 now.

Everybody is doing it. All the predic4ions I've seen are feels likes predictions, and a lot are basing it on the spread like that means anything. Vegas doesn't know shite. We blow out Ole Miss and Miss St, what was those spreads? What was the spread vs Bama? Remember the Tennessee spread?

I live in NWA and the temperature here is fine. The cold front comes through tomorrow evening so Arkansas has no more significant practice days in the cold than we have.

They should be as equally effected by the “cold” which is 38° at KO and 45° by the end. Great weather to play football.
