CBK getting a 2-minute warning will make me less mad at his shitty wasting of timeouts on the first drive of the game; I will still get mad, just slightly less mad now

"We need to speed the game up"
- Implement running clock except under 2 minutes for first down/OOB
-The literal Next year-
"So we're thinking of adding the 2 minute warning stoppage of time"

One thing I wish they would implement (but won't) is time limits on reviews. If it takes you 3, 4, 5 minutes to figure out a call, then you probably don't have indisputable evidence
These absurdly long reviews kill the flow of the game.

The 2MW is a result of the timing change. If the ball is snapped at 2:02 and the play ends at 1:56 with a first down, does the clock stop or not? Now, if a play results in a first down prior to the 2MW, clock keeps running. If the ball is snapped after the 2MW, clock stops.
A standard ESPN game has 4 commercial breaks in the 2nd & 4th quarter. There were many games last year where ESPN used them all up in the 6 or 7 minutes of the 4th qtr in case LSU went on a 4 minute drive to end the game. I don't think ESPN will increase the amount of commercial breaks, but will allow them to save one for the 2MW.

If the 2 minute warning stoppage is just a 30 second timeout and does not consist of 3+ minutes worth of commercials, then I am ok with it. If there are tons of commercials during the 2MW, then this was just a money grab by the networks/conferences.

It’s about time they must have got rid of all the timers who was fifty years behind progress .

Adding a 2 minute warning is horse shite to me. I don't mind it as a game play situation, but the whole reason of keeping the clock rolling after a first down was to have the game go faster because they were too long. Now they're going to add back half the time they made up just to have an extra commercial break. Oh well, when I become a billionaire I'll be able to voice my opinion to people who matter.

They need to change the rule of down after int or catch to you having to be touched also
