O got every $ he was owed.

To be fair, although Woodward hired Jimbo at aTm, he had no part in Jimbo’s contract extension

Is it safe to say the 10 year $100 million fully guaranteed contract is a thing in the past?

The difference here from Miles and O is that even when losing, they were liked as people. No one has liked Kelly since he arrived.
Very punchable face.

Kelly was probably shocked
I imagine Kelly expected to be given a blank check book to fire Sloan/Davis and hire some expensive OC

It’s a risky move to fire BK.
I was proud to be the 20th downvote on this horrendous take.

So all of those things you mentioned are nice, but none of that is the bottom line. No, I’m not just talking about winning.
Kelly failed to deliver a consistent, respectable product. Maybe rantards think LSU should win the title every year, but most fans want to believe the team is competitive and capable. Kelly failed to do that for 4 years. With the salary he was given, that result is unacceptable.

So many of us hated the hire,
So true. There's been recent gaslighting my others to say we all wanted him and liked the hire, but a large number of us definitely did not like it.

LSU has been competitive under Kelly. Top 1/3 of the SEC each season and an SECG appearance

You thought Brian Kelly was....likeable?

Not a good career move to mouth off at your boss after you screwed up.
Are you stupid? Career move? Kelly is not worried about his career after the contract he got.

Beat me to it. Sums it all up. Coming in at almost 9 am after that. Pathetic.

Yeah, there's no way any of this is his fault. Just as him.

Kelly needs to be told to pack his shite and leave Baton Rouge

Kelly will always hold a grudge against lsu now and will always trash lsu if he gets a tv gig
