Well I've noticed the threads went from yesterday's worshipping Miles and our 10 ugly wins to today's disappointment. Reality is a bitch.

Well no shock here. When you don't take care of your own business and you have to rely on 5 other teams to lose to make a bcs bowl this is what happens and it finally caught up to them.

Oh the slurping is going to continue.

Blame will be placed on the system rather than at the feet of our 4 MILLION DOLLAR PER YEAR coach.

Earning that money. Two losses that were his alone and a new years eve game against Clemson.

Wait a minute

10-2 and a game against Clemson. Is dinardo still here?

Would we finish in the Top 5?

I don't agree here. ND has a solid D and an offense that could push LSU around.

Maybe if they had started in the top 5 instead of unranked

meh.....I think when Bama beats up UGA, you will see LSU in Cap One, UGA in Outback, SCar in Chik-Fil-A

Agree. Think I'll take the money from bowl game fund and buy a couple of bottles of good whiskey to replace the ones I consumed trying to stomach over half the regular season games.

A great opportunity to introduce the Aggies to the boobie prize bowl we are projected to go to.

I have never seen any excitment in playing Clem-son Kadditalhopper in all the past bowls. Even the NC of '58 was boring, 7-0.

As others have said...I'd rather play Clemson than Michigan.

Two losses against top 4 teams. Yes, it sucks but the way the other three two loss sec teams appear nationally we are going to get the shaft. Can't really do anything about it.

Positives of playing in ChicFilA
-Prime Time night game
-Only game on
-Decent venue
(Can't think of any others)

Negatives
-it's perceived as a lower tier bowl nationally.

What are you talking about?

You like the fact this season is going to go down as one the most disappointing in LSU history?

That's garbage man

Only thing we have going for us is the allure of Miles vs. Michigan in the Cap One Bowl. It's either that or the lame peach bowl to ruin New Year's Eve plans.

I think the outcome of the Nebraska vs. Wisconsin game plays a significant role. If Wiscy beats Nebraska, Nebraska will likely land in the Outback. They played South Carolina in last year's bowl game and neither wants a rematch. That could allow LSU to slip in. If Wisconsin loses, LSU will likely end up in Chick Fil-A. A South Carolina vs. Clemson rematch IS possible in the Chick Fil-A.
