Hell YES.

I am still not over last season, and whether anyone believes me or anyone else it has nothing to with Bama.

2011 LSU was the best team that has ever taken the field for LSU, and was an absolute joy to watch. They walked into stadiums, kicked people in the teeth, and then watched them lay down.

More than anything else, this season has been a crushing realization that that team was a total anomaly and not the turning point for this program that I thought it was going to be.

This season was NCG or bust, and Chicken Bowl is a major bust.

The only poster I see confused is you.

The point I was getting at is that loses happen. They always will.

You said "LSU is supposed to beat other teams." And we beat 10 of them.

I responded with, "Alabama was supposed to beat A&M." No one, or very few, gave A&M a chance in that game.

It happens sometimes. Like I said earlier, before you get sideways about what bowl we're going to, keep in mind those are projections. Just let it play out.

You set yourself up for going to the NCG every year, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Be glad we're in the running every year.

But to each his own.

I'm not pissed at Miles or the team. I'm pissed at the shitty bowl system, a conference that treats us as an afterthought, and a sports media that rarely acknowledges us in the same breath as the teams in major media markets.

A few minutes ago the ESPN radio talking head was comparing Notre Dame and the SEC, and going through all the SEC teams in the BCS rankings. Bama, Georgia, Florida, on down to A&M and USCe. LSU wasn't mentioned. At all.

Me either. The bowl selection process is all about, firstly, making $$$. It should be about head to head matchups and not speculating if this team played that team again. The selection process itself is a joke.

Naturally. And the funny thing is that, I think it was last week, Jessie Palmer and David Pollack both said that any SEC team in the top 10 would be favored over ND.

ESPN can't repeat that though. They have to say those 3 letters that they hate saying.

Wow...you guys are really sensitive. All i state is that I personally feel LSU underachieved. We won 10 games and are going to a bowl. I'll take it, but i'm not satisfied. Jealous...maybe a little. Bama was dead in the water when Les got here and now Saban may be playing for a 3rd NC and has coached a Heisman winner. He took a mediocre Bama program and passed up LSU and Miles. Sorry, I want to DOMINATE and play for championships EVERY YEAR. We're past the "well, we could be Auburn or Tennessee" stage. We should be saying "well, we could be Bama or Georgia right now".

bird, that comment was to dgnx6. He initially responded by saying "So LSU is now magically the best team in the West?", when i simply stated that LSU and Bama were the best 2 teams in the West. Seems he didn't understand and sounded CONFUSED.

Sounds like you're the one whose sensitive.

We won't be in the BCSNG every year. No team will. That's a fact.

But believe what you want.

He wanted you to admit that Miles is the reason that we are one of the top 2 in the West.

There are 6 teams in the SEC with 10+ wins. I do not see how we go to any other bowl other than the Chicken shite Sandwich Bowl.

Yes folks, we went from BCS Title Game to Chicken shite Sandwich Bowl with 2 defensive series against Bama.

The Cap One is taking the SECCG loser.

Why is that exclusive to us?

Bama/UGA goes to BCSNG. Fl the Sugar. Loser of Bama/UGA to Cap. 1.

These other teams are exempt?

At least they don't have to take them. With the new rules, all of the 10 win teams are eligble to be picked over GA or Bama this year.

The Outback will not pick west if UGA, UF, or USCe is available. Since one of them has to be available .....
