At least they don't have to take them. With the new rules, all of the 10 win teams are eligble to be picked over GA or Bama this year.

I was there in 2005. Iowa had at least twice as many fans in Shithols Stadium. LSU just does not travel well to Orlando. They will pass on LSU with all the other options available to them.

We won't be in the BCSNG every year. No team will. That's a fact.

Bama has 3 out of 4 years

I'm willing to compromise and accept a BCSNG appearance only every other year, so how bout that?

I could not bear to sit that stadium again after my 2005 experience.

I never said it wasn't. Just was saying that if you are expecting to be there every year, the chances of it happening are slim. Unless you get propped up high on a preseason rank where all you have to do is win games against mostly inferior opponents.

But that's for another thread.

Then you should be happy we won't be going there.

You should probably be happy with once every 4 or 5 years.

Historically the Cap one passes on the Sec CG loser. They passed on LSU in 2005

I am sure the fact that LSU got massacred by UGA had nothing to do it.

And the fact LSU was there the year before with dismal attendance.

I'm happy when we win 10 games, but I'd sure be a lot happier if people stopped trying to convince me that playing second fiddle to a division rival is cool and that having the sort of success that another team just a couple of states over is having isn't possible.

If we were seeing different teams in the NCG every year the "you can't expect to win it all the time" line would carry more punch, but it seems like Alabama fans CAN expect that lately, and they won't be disappointed more than half the time.

If we get the chicken bowl it will be for one reason: LSU is "boring" to watch as opposed to teams like TaM

Well theres 3 11-1 teams and then A&M who even though we beat , following there upset of Bama many I believe think they would win a rematch with us.

If TaM played us this week, we'd lost by 4 touchdowns. Sad but true.
