It probably did stem from a little justifiable envy on the part of the father but he should not have expressed it on a public forum.
A lot of older parents probably don't realize that posting on internet message boards is not the same as interactions with fans and the local community at high school level or little league level.
He should be thankful if it doesn't become part of a meme.

He is a P/K who was offered by LSU and then went to Florida - If that person is indeed his dad - he comments on almost every other Wing thread (he has even commented in this thread) about how in the long term we will regret and weep over not having Kyle in the LSU fold

Wing is truly a badass punter (I cant believe I am typing that). At this point he's so much better that it's laughable that we are even talking about some other punter and his dad as if they matter in the slightest.
