I am referring to premium seats. Not nose bleed. Also what I mean by rich isn't millionaires.

It not just losing to bama! It's losing 3-4 games per year and a lower finish in west. Four years running. It a piss poor offense. It's questionable hires. It's QB recruitment and development. Realist know BAMA is good but it not that!

Jesus....what is it with you guys and the "we're the only ones that watch LSU football" mantra.

literally anyone who shows the slightest support for Miles...whether it be players, coaches, or media...is immediately lambasted and thrown under the bus.

y'all are like the sports version of an SJW. give it fricking rest already

Harbaugh is a great coach. He also benefited from 16 of his starters being in the program for 4 years or more. That is a huge advantage. I don't think he would have had near the success if they were freshmen and sophomores. Nothing beats the weight training and nutrition of a big time college program, not to mention that many years of practice and game experience.

Nutjob fanatics with unrealistic expectations are the problem, actually. Look at the expectations of the "hardcore" fans on this board, then ask yourself how many SEC coaches in history have met those expectations.
Saban ruined LSU. He is a "once in a generation" SEC coach, and because he was at LSU once and because of what he has been able to do at Bama, people think any coach LSU hires should be able to do the same.
In the modern era, how many SEC coaches have won (or even been to) multiple championship games?

In the scheme of things, most of us are real fans-as opposed to hardcore, because we have real lives-jobs, families and responsibilities that transcend a Saturday football game for 12-14 weeks during the year....anything else is borderline psychotic.

what's interesting is that you didn't mention that LSU is a university.

I really don't give a shite about "hardcore football fans". I only care about fans of LSU.

AND there is a difference between LSU fans and fans of LSU. as far as i'm concerned anybody that isn't a fan of LSU can just go find themselves another football team to root for.

I pay my TAF dues and donation, I pay for my season tickets, I paid for my diploma from LSU, and I've been going to games since I was 6 years old in 1984. I'm the farthest thing from a casual fan and I like Les. You dickholes think 10 win seasons grow on trees. If there's not somebody to talk sense into some of you, y'all would have run off the coach and we'd be 2 seasons into some Butch Jones nightmare right now. Furthermore, nobody needs some sidewalk fans who haven't ever been to a game stirring this message board up into fricking mania. You know, I don't even know why I'm adding fuel to the fire. Les is the coach and will be for probably the duration of his contract. After this Alleva debacle haven't the nega-tigers realized it? You lost. Sunshine pumpers won. Either get out of the way or get the frick out.

man, you are my fricking HERO!

Those are things that have nothing to do with scheme & 100% to do with coaching. Therein lies the issue: when it's coaching the casual observers blame scheme, when it's scheme the casual observers say it's players not executing.

spot on...

So you think Miles is the same coach that he was back then?

Hell, I think even the most anti Miles posters would welcome that Miles back.

Problem is, it seems Miles is basically mailing it in now.

For example, Michigan State pulls off a picture perfect 22 play drive to beat Iowa. A thing of beauty actually. Think a Les Miles coached team could pull that off? I guarantee one or several of the following will happen: a delay of game; a false start; a timeout after a delay; a completely botched play or two; substitution problems etc?

Funny you should say this.

I was in another state Saturday night for the game (Virginia) at a party with people all across the US.

At this party, there were two MSU fans watching the game. When MSU went on that drive, one of the MSU fans turned to me and recapped about five drives LSU made in similar fashion to close out games the past several years. Of course, one was UF in 2007.

Point being, our program, and its history, is probably better known by those who aren't fans of the program.

Yet, I come to this board, and read shite like this daily from supposed "fans".

LOL

Good stuff. I hope LSU football makes you so miserable you cannot sleep.

Id welcome that back, but Im not so sure it was him, I think he relies totally on his coordinators and i think it was those guys... I think he is a patient/under control type guy, not a sharp/smart guy.

5-3, 4-4 etc are good seasons in the sec right?

Look at the expectations of the "hardcore" fans on this board

The pumpers are the ones that predict 12-0, 11-1, 10-2 every year and go ape shite on the ones who predict 9-3 or 8-4...so who has the unrealistic expectations?

people think any coach LSU hires should be able to do the same.

people think that with the resources has (facilities, recruiting base, and competive with coaching salaries) there is no reason LSU shouldn't have the same expectations as Alabama has.

LSU has hired one coach since we locked down the recruiting in state, been willing to pay top $ for coaches, and upgraded the football facilities to some of the best in the nation...so don't act like this is the same program as it was in the 80's & 90's.

We get more props from msu fans than the "hardcore fans" on here. I guess they don't suffer from the same post-Saban syndrome as some of our own.
