I didn't self up vote, and the car analogy is pretty good.
The issue with itz however, is that you do have tires, you just don't have maybe the performance tires you want, but you have an engine that has already sputtered and broke down on ya several times.

Can’t transfer to an SEC school in the Spring portal. Georgia’s 5 day window for fall transfers has passed.

Ok. You’re doubling down on a bad take with a shockingly bad assessment of our roster.
If you think our safety position is good enough “but just maybe not the performance we want” while believing that your statistically best position (QB) has “sputtered and broke down” so much that you want to pay top dollar to replace it by PAYING TOP OF MARKET prices for the same or worse model…you’re nuts.
I can only hope you are a front line employee of some sort. That’s not to disparage frontline workers (that’s where value is created), but it is to say that you have zero concept of resource allocation or the big picture.

Yall have no sense of loyalty. What would you think would happen to the behavior of that qb room? You have Nuss who had the 3rd best season in LSU history at QB, brought in a young MVB who took an opportunity to sit and learn, and a young Hurley who is biding his time. But no let’s bring in a one year rental who will destroy the fabric of that position group. Not to mention Nuss is BETTER.
