Not sure why you guys want Carolina to beat Florida.
Florida winning the rest of their games makes LSU's loss look better.

I can't speak for anyone else but for me it's:

A. I hate Florida

B. We take care of our business and USCe beats the #2 team in the BCS right now, that will improve our win over them.

We take care of our business, regardless of who USCe beats, they can't be put over us in the polls.

Similar situation in '07 with our win over Virginia Tech. We had two losses, Virginia Tech beat everyone else on their schedule but couldn't be placed over us because of our win over them. That helped us in the end.

An argument could be made for either point though. But for me personally, it's beat Florida.

I call bullshite. I know what really happened. You sent your granddaughter to get ice cream and got bombarded with piss balloons. When finding your granddaughter, you realize she's crying bc some lsu fan yelled and cursed her. Then your wife got sick from the excessive smell of corndogs. And the students tipped your truck. You ain't got to lie to kick it

Glad you had a good time

Seriously. Did you smell corndogs?

Thanks for posting your experience. It's nice to hear the good time you had. I traveled to the LSU/SC game in 2003 in Columbia. I really enjoyed everything about the South Carolina game day experience. My only disappointment was your stadium not being on your campus so I could more easily enjoy walking around your school. I think you have a great stadium and now a really good team and coach.

Always keep the old USMC 10% rule in the back of your mind when visiting away FB stadiums. There will always be 10% shite birds in any walk of life and they are the ones who give institutions, groups, etc. a bad reputation. Bad is what is always reported, not good, there is nothing dramatic about treating a fan from another school with respect and insuring he/she have a good time. On the other hand, assholes and their deeds are always reported. LSU is no different that any of the other schools in the country, the majority of the fans are great people, its the 10% shite birds that you must avoid at all cost.

you caught Tiger Stadium at it's best. most LSU fans are gracious hosts as I'm sure are the folks at USC. I pass through Columbia quite often as I make road trips to the OBX twice a year. the 65-85-20 portion of the trip is beautiful and the SC troopers seem to be lenient (knock on wood) .
good luck with the gators this weekend as they are pretty much a mirror image of what your team faced satnite. take care.

I've been to Williams-Brice twice, and was greeted cordially both times. Glad the Tiger Fanbase was hospitable to Gamecocks fans. Hope you enjoyed what we consider a beautiful campus.

Every person I talk to IRL has the same experience you did, but for some reason on the intrawebz piss balloons and tipped over portalets seemed to be ever so common.

Glad you had a good time.

Looking forward to the return trip.

Godd luck the rest of the way, or until the SEC 'ship, if we see you there.
