You’re kidding, right?

I read what you wrote as Orgeron was trying to discredit Canada. You provided no substantiation for this claim, which was something you chided in the first part of your post.

I have no clue what's true and what isn't at this point, so I really don't have an opinion on any of it. The whole saga has taken on a life of its own and I'm really looking forward to its conclusion.

Craig was reportedly responsible for the Stephen Guidry screw up that cost us a recruit and slot and failed to get Devonta Smith. I don't know what's true about him telling recruits not to come and supposedly wearing Auburn gear on recruiting visits. I know Craig wanted to be part of play calling as well.

Dameyune Craig was last years bad guy who didn't recruit and told recruits not to come here. Even though Farrell signed from Mobile 100% bc of him.

You have links? I never heard any of this shite and I'm on this board every day just about.

I know for a fact we aren't giving Canada anymore money.

All that needs to be said about Craig, per an LSU press release, is that he was "fired", a direct quote from LSU. So if he was that dumb, why is so hard to consider that Canada could be just as dumb?

Canada is obviously hard to work with - too many personalities ranging from the discredited personality of Coaxh O to the ultra disciplined Aranda - then, lots of people in between both inside and outside of LSU circles......obviously a prima Donna prick who no one enjoys working with - if ANY of the rumors are true about his less than honest recruiting efforts, he should be shown the door ASAP - LSU will find a good replacement soon - this staff only needs a few tweaks and everyone working together to make itself into a championship team.

Well, Craig was straight up fired, so that says a lot. Hardly ever happens.

If this is true the CEO better make a home run hire at OC. He barely knows how to run a program and he's pushing an experienced OC out the door for who? This will be the end of CEO and I will not be supporting him. In two years we will have to get rid of the whole staff, AD and start all over.

When Orgeron said after the A&M game that Steve would be considered for OC, he was talking about Sarkisian, not Ensminger.

In 3-4 different posts in different threads there has been a pretty significant accusation against Canada in the recruitment of Baldwin (QB - Lake Travis, TX) noted by the poster Carville. There has been no other public source, reference, or confirmation that I am aware of re: this issue. I’m not saying it’s not true, but just wondering about the accuracy.

Then why are you re-posting this unsubstantiated crap on our RECRUITING BOARD for every remaining recruit to see! Are you just a moron?

Oh yeah?? What would give you comfort on this if he went 0/1 right out of the gate?

I mean he was interim HC for a WHILE. Did he not research and have a list of candidates?? Did he wake up the week prior to Troy and say holy crap, I don't like all that motion jazz!! You would think a HC would at least watch some video of a prospective OC's offenses. . . Just to be able to judge if he SHOULD be on his list of prospective candidates.

This is what concerns a lot of people. Coach O's intellectual capacity to run an entire program competently. Have some uneasy qualms about this OC situation.

He wrote Kiffin in the binder. That was option a-z. Alleva was very impressed. They'll show bama and impress the fans. Once that fell through, Coach Derek found Canada on the rant.

Cry me a river... it will likely be proved or quelled BEFORE the first Wed in Feb. We will likely find out if Canada is even in the booth or not on Sunday.

We have 20 recruits already SIGNED. 10 on offense (11 if you count Rosenthal), and we’ve already signed 3 WRs. So how much impact do you see a random forum thread questioning sources of a rumor impacting the 1 (MAYBE 2) remaining offensive recruits?

Sorry Whitefoot. I didn’t realize your rules permit you to ignore the press conference where Orgeron said Canada was looking elsewhere for a job. I cited it in my post.
I’ll note that principled argument is not your strong suit.

upheaval at OC, amazing that we have kept our offensive recruits together so far, but not surprising that we will probably close out the cycle without a QB commit signing...
