Nah, I like the linemen we are bringing in. I think they'll be able to contribute some next year.

Your posts explain a lot about the ignorance of LSU fans

And no, I didn’t say expecting championships is ignorant

I think the problem is people assume perfect conditions, perfect health. And I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that we're not going to have zero suspensions and no injuries.

How about we assume our lines are at 75% of what we see right now. We still running the table?

What I fear is that we're going to repeat this cycle of "well if ______ wouldn't have gotten injured/suspended we would've made the playoffs" which is an excuse that can be used repeatedly.

We start out deeper and more talented on OL than last season. We return 4/5 starters vs 2/5 last season. We add the #1 OG, we redshirted our prized OT recruit Rosenthal and have 3 more OL recruits.

We are deeper and more talented at RB. Both incoming FR are higher ranked than any of our current players. We only lose Brossette. CEH returns, Curry got a RS and Provens got a RS and Lanard looked good towards the end.

WR returns nearly everyone. I expect a transfer due to depth in the offseason. The talent is there, but they were raw. We add 4* Trey Palmer as well who gives us a more shifty player.

Burrow gets a full offseason to get reps with the WRs, learn the offense and will have more depth behind him with Brennan and Parrish. Parrish will likely get a wildcat package.

TE: Moss and Pettigrew are more pass catching TEs than Moreau.

Even SE should reasonably be expected to do a better job in his 2nd season as OC. More time to implement and better depth/talent/experience. The same reason I wanted to give Canada another season. I was hoping we would explore other OC options, but it's clear that's not happening in 2019 so I'm looking at the roster and I think we should realistically see a significant improvement.

On a side note the #1 2020 QB is hanging out watching LSU prep for the Fiesta. Our new #1 CB from Cali is trying to recruit him to LSU.

Right now I’ll just be happy with going to the SEC championship game.

But hey, we have 9 wins with a chance for 10. Things are really look up.

You are the ones saying that O can't compete for a national championship. That would make you and people like you the loser mentality.

This was the worst season for attrition since like 1999. I wouldn’t expect it to be this bad going into next year.

But this does bring one thing to mind. Some of you will vehemently disagree, but I think it may be time to move on from Moffit. Our line issues aren’t just about talent lately. They aren’t physically matching up the way we used to seeing. State, Auburn, UF and Bama are all on the schedule every year, and all are doing a better job of physically preparing their O and D Lines. Two of those programs don’t recruit on LSU’s level, but are still putting more physical lines are on the field. That’s a product of strength and conditioning.

No. We are an 8-9 win a year program under O.

Recruit at a top/elite level to be competitive in the SEC West, but get held back by an antiquated scheme and lose games we shouldn’t.

I’m not an O pumper, but he actually has a pretty badass class shaping up for 2020. Just got a big commit from California. Laugh if you want, but that statement is actually true.

How can you be so fricking dense? How can you not see that LSU is recruiting nationally at a very high level. I don't care what any of you say. LSU hasn't been competing at a high level because of depth. Look at the recruiting class and take a look at the kinds of athletes that LSU is recruiting. This class is going to be great but the next class is going to be epic. 2020 may be the biggest haul ever. The question is how can you not be excited? How can you not expect a championship?

Ed orgeron is currently building a championship team in Baton Ridge. It may or may not be this next season or the season after but it's coming. I don't see how you can't see it.

He was two plays away from a strong argument for a playoff birth this season, so yes, I could see it. Now could he win it? That's a whole different question.
