Sure can. But we have Alabama to go through and nobody else really does.

So you think we can basically run the table outside of Bama?

I'm not saying we will, but why not. It's not like we were blown out by UF and A&M. I like the roster talent and experience on the 2019 team. I don't think anyone thought we had the roster to compete this year.

It will take improvement in scheme offensively, but we will have a more talented and experienced offense so SE needs to loosen the reigns. He really has no where to hide if the offense plays poorly next season.

No. Not with this offensive coordinator, no chance

He needs to step out of his comfort zone, get an OC to run shite and one that he can co-habitate with.

LSUs revenue in football has gone from almost 120 mil to 90 mil for a reason.

The dollars are already talking and I'd imagine plenty more will if ed o stays around.

No one cares.

That was the head football coach's decision to hire a new OC.

Who cares what idiots think because they read it on the Rantard board?

LSU is ranked #11 in the country with a chance to finish higher. Is playing in a New Year's Day bowl game. Has the #3 or #4 (depending on service) recruiting class in the nation with a chance to get better.

But, I have an idea, let's all cry and be miserable. shite is looking pretty bad right now. I have been crying for, well, I am lying, I can't cry for fricking smiling. BUT, it is really horrible. LSU only signed the #1 RB in the country, the #1 OG in the country, the #8 RB in the country. The #1 CB in the country.

It is fricking horrible man. Jump ship now before the team and class get better. frick the pumpers, get out now.

I think the problem is people assume perfect conditions, perfect health. And I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that we're not going to have zero suspensions and no injuries.

How about we assume our lines are at 75% of what we see right now. We still running the table?

What I fear is that we're going to repeat this cycle of "well if ______ wouldn't have gotten injured/suspended we would've made the playoffs" which is an excuse that can be used repeatedly.

I mean I understand this is all you have to argue but LSU has been doing this for years. Recruiting is NOT the problem at LSU. So I’m not sure why you keep bringing this up?

It’s all about the X’s & O’s and we’re lacking with that offensively and it holds this team back. Had been for years.

Expecting championship results is ignorant?

If so, that explains a lot about our fan base and program

I feel like we have to beat Bama to do it. We aren’t them and won’t get the benefit of the doubt with 1 loss and no SECCG.

I do not think Ed beats Bama with Saban

It could happen, but it definitely isn’t likely. Like Miles’ title in 07 and Fulmer’s in 99, it would take things lining up just right. The right schedules, other teams around us losing, a couple of dominant players that can tip the scales. Also, he will either have to retain Aranda or find an equal or better replacement and a better OC.

There are a lot of things going on there, so I wouldn’t recommend placing a bet on these long odds.

I think the odds are highest that O keeps winning 7-9 regular season games as long as he has the job. He will always recruit well enough and that and the inertia of the program will help him stay above water.

Unfortunately, I think it’s far more likely that O crashes and burns and is fired than wins a National Championship. However, I don’t think that happens unless Aranda bails and he botches the replacement.
