I just watched a 15 minute highlight reel of the spring game and noticed he got trucked by RBs like 4 times. Not saying he won't be a good player going forward but just an observation..

Pretty disappointed that none of Sage Ryan, Derrick Davis, or Jordan Toles have made an impact at safety.

Sage was hurt last year
He made a good play In the spring game, but Malik caught the tipped ball
Sage will go off this year, watch him

Hope you’re right but I don’t see it based off what we saw in limited time last year and the spring game. He looks small and slow out there compared to our other DBs. Plus it seems like Greg Brooks is in strong position to lock down that nickel position after spring.

Davis is huge and will be a good SS in the future. He made some good plays in the spring game and is a strong tackler. Just not sure how we’ll he can cover. Langolis better like covering kicks because he looked out of place

He’s just not big enough right now. Pure catch tackler

Kid needs another year in the S&C program and he’ll be a solid player for us I think.

He’s actually got pretty good size. Bigger than Jay Ward is. Maybe he and Sage are just still a little overwhelmed coming from 1A football and being primarily offensive players in HS. David was another guy who primarily played running back but was projected to be a safety.

I think he needs strength up. You can be big and weak. He did have a bit of an issue getting people to the ground cleanly yesterday.

BK said a couple of weeks ago that he doesn’t want anybody laying the wood on anybody during Spring. The D was basically just wrapping there arms and letting up

Davis actually looked the part at Safety. Toles got moved to CB and really struggled. Now he was hurt but I do not expect him to stay at CB.

Davis was all over the field Saturday. Looked real good. Being at the game probably gave us a better vantage point than TV. He did well

This. There are going to be a lot of disappointed fans when our RB's aren't breaking off 20 yard runs against FSU.

If that kid is anything like his father. He will play a ton. His dad was one of the best HS football players I’ve ever seen.

Have never laid eyes on this kid.

As far as the “trucked” comment. It also means he was in place to make a tackle that the were told not to lay wood…

People on here make way too much from spring.

I guess they forgot to tell the offense?
