I wouldn’t miss half of the idiots that post on this board. When I read some of these threads, I can actually feel a brain cell dying off.

Imagine someone calling for us to stop doing the griddy in 2019.

If it’s ok with the GodFather, Skip, then I am down with it too.

I’m late to this thread, but No.

but the arms crossed pose after every homer might be the most cringe celebration of all time
It’s fun. The players enjoy it and it doesn’t disrespect the opponent nor violate the SEC celebration/taunting rules.
So short answer? No.

Why don't you join the team and talk to them about it in the locker room?
Or, right after you stop using "cringe".

Wow, 480 downvotes! What’s the record?

I just brought this up to a few of the players and they said they don't care what you think.

I couldn't disagree more. I think it grows the game. how many kids do you see at the box doing the arms crossed thing because they want to be like tommy white, dugas, crews, etc. Do you want the fans to do a small golf clap too when they hit a home run? its fun to celebrate with your team. Hope you stay at home so you don't kill the atmosphere at the games, pawpaw

I think the pose is kinda dumb. But your above statement is stupid. They don’t have any relation to the other.
Being arrogant is not going to make you win or lose. Sometimes arrogant teams win (Miami football back in the day, usc circa early 2000s) and sometimes arrogant teams lose (tennessee baseball recently). Neither effects the other.
You could argue that being arrogant could draw other teams to play harder and want I beat you even more. But just winning will make those teams do that too. But being arrogant isn’t going to make it easier for team to beat you.

How dare these college age kids have fun
Back in my day we’d go shake the other teams hand apologizing after home runs and then offer to give them a blowie to help them feel better.

Downvote #541. OP is gay so I’m pretty sure that many downvotes is a hate crime.

As stated, this Barnum & Bailey shite has no place in baseball. Can't say for sure if this contributed to the shite-show today, but I can guarantee it didn't help. This entire team needs to dedicate every ounce of their energy and focus on playing the game and ditch the stupid grandstanding crap.
And don't start with blaming the pitchers. Both teams had crappy throwers.
