Traffic after the game is by far the number one reason that I hear from people
I think a big problem with the traffic for certain people is them parking in a spot that will make it very difficult for them to get where they need to go after the game. We never had an issue with traffic, but we walked an extra 5 minutes, and in return were on the road and moving pretty quickly.

Yup anyone who sits in 2+ hours leaving an LSU game is a certified retard. It’s takes me about 20 minutes to get back to my house near Independence Park. This even includes after the Alabama Game last year.

Like I tell people on this board show up or stop complaining.

I'll be there with 3 other people.
That's a start.
That's a start.

If we don't this weekend we wont for rest of the season...it's Saturday night, last annual schedule Auburn game before expansion, highs in the mid 70's and clear skies.....if you don't wanna come out to this, you clearly don't care much for live college football
AMEN! LSU v. Auburn bring it on!

I was supposed to go, but my sister is getting married. Me and the future bro-in-law are gonna have a serious conversation about planning stuff during football season…

Last game was too hot because the sun was gonna be out until the end of the 1st quarter. This game will be too cold because it'll be in the 60s by the 2nd half.

Traffic is no worse today than it was 10 or 20 years ago.

I’ll be there doin my part

We'll be pulling our weight.

If we never fill all the seats, looks that way, then it's time to fix the seats. They are too narrow. Stadium built many years ago. Put wider seats with back rests. That will lower seating capacity by least thousands. Then we can be full again

If you have a chance to see Jayden Daniels play in person and you don't, then you're a moron.

I went to Oxford for the game a couple weeks ago and went to the Auburn game last year. I understand both of them have much smaller stadiums than TS, but the overall fan experience at both was much better than TS imo. I don't know if that's a hot take or not. Traffic leaving Auburn was very similar to BR, but it didn't keep them from filling up their stadium. I found both stadiums had better music, engaged their fans a lot more with cheers throughout the game, mic'd up the band, had better sound systems. I know a lot of people on the board aren't a fan of the light shows, but having been to multiple stadiums with them, it gets the crowd extremely excited going into the 4th and I think it would work well at TS. Having said all that, I think LSU is seriously lagging behind other SEC schools in the fan experience department.
TLDR: I think the lack-luster fan experience at TS is the primary reason less and less people go, not traffic

Great post with solid points. I’ll stick to my guns and just say TV is the biggest reason people stay home in general. Comfort of your home and every game televised changes the game. You no longer have to attend to watch, you can watch every game wherever. You don’t miss any of the other great matchups going on around the country either.
Plus, with the new clock rules.. they’ve added so much dead time to the games. It def feels longer being there this year with all the tv timeouts.

I’ll be there. Bring 2 friends…from Auburn.

Mjax57. Good point. They are on TV every week. Maybe a game on internet. Lots of people rather not fight the heat, traffic, poor concessions. They stay home in cool, endless food and drink, close toilet. Plus most like myself have large screen TV. And prices are so high for tickets.
