My big question was how would he respond pitching in front of a crowd of that size for the first time this season with the postseason pressure. He proved he can compete on the big stage at this level in the SEC for me. Would be awesome to have him as a weekend starter next year

I feel bad for coaches like the Nicholls coach. Guy has done a great job at Nicholls and a great job finding a diamond in the rough, did a great job of polishing that diamond, and will likely lose him to a bigger D1 school at the end of the season.

Well he won’t be in Thibodaux for too much longer anyways, so I think he’ll be ok. It really just sucks for the schools like Nicholls. They just can’t compete or hold on to a good coach or player. Nicholls can’t compete with power 5 schools like that. Really sucks for them.
