I doubt it. Just asking

They should have started at noon

I guess you could but it would be half empty.

Got plenty of whining already and the game hasn’t started. It’s a Friday with postseason baseball. Stop being soft.

Zero to do with soft, clown. It's about getting the game played

Yeah, I’m sure they can just change the start time on the day of the game

Where is all this rain that everyone is concerned about?
Posted on 5/30/25 at 12:10 pm to tigerskin
Inside sauces saying game might not start until rain clears away.
Edit: if these sauces are correct, i would imagine this is announced soon.

That has happened multiple times this season

No way around it. They mismanaged the game time.

It’s typically been a night game that they moved up early but they make the decision early that day. You can’t decide to move a game up an hour and a half before scheduled first pitch.

NCAA makes the call, not sure the coaches have much input.

If this happens, and I'm the other coaches, I'm raising hell the entire delay.

Under NCAA rules the host coach can determine the start time for a weather delay.
From Google

The host coach, in consultation with game officials, has the authority to decide when the game can be resumed, following the 30-minute delay and taking into account the ongoing weather conditions. Resuming Play:

Not saying Weather.com is the end all be all, but its more accurate imo.
And Weather.com hour by hour in BR showing storms from 3-6 and some rain after that. And then clearing up nicely for 6:30-7:00pmish
