Son we live in a world that has budgets, and those have to be funded by geriatrics with low T. Whose gonna do it you, you GeorgetheGreek? They have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for The crowd, and you curse the Fans. You have that luxury, you have the luxury of not knowing what I know, that Those geriatrics while tragic, probably saved the program. And their existence while grotesque and incomprehensible, to you, saves the program. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don’t talk about games; you want them in those seats, you need them in those seats! We use words like donation, booster, taf, We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something, you use them as a punch line. I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very program that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I'd rather you just say 'thank you' and go on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a checkbook, and give like there’s no tomorrow. Either way, I don't give a damn, what you think you are entitled to!

Maybe they’re old and smart enough to know LSU is playing Liberty. They’ll be vacating this win anyhow when Wade goes down.

If you are lucky you'll be a "gramps" someday. If the rest of us are lucky you won't be.

As someone who was actually at the game, it was damn loud for the crowd size and the Monday 6pm tip. And you can quit your bitching when you start shelling out the $800-$1,100 per season ticket that the geriatrics can actually afford and going to games yourself.

two of my frat bros were there last night, probably considered geriatrics by OP, I'll ask them if they were doing their part or ghosting on the Tigers

I wanted to this year but unfortunately those tickets aren’t available because gramps has them locked up. It’s embarrassing to have empty seats in the 100s. If you aren’t going to make the games give your seats up. I am at nearly every game. I have a wife and kid, full time student, in the national guard… (which has turned nearly full time due to telework capabilities.) Yet I make time to be at the games. Gramps doesn’t want to come to these games because it’s cold, traffic, too loud, these kids and their music, or any other excuse they want to make… then when they do show they suck the life out the building. If you don’t want to stand get seats in 200 or 300 level. It’s college basketball not the opera.

PMac will never be what those geriatrics made it in the 1980's.

And they weren't bandwagon fans, like y'all.

You should have bought your tickets during the Jones and Johnson period instead of waiting until Wade rebuilt the program..
The place was empty except for the "Gramps".

I was in England, Dover, Charleston, and DC during that period. I bought my season tickets the day I moved back to LA. Couldn’t get into the 100s and I’ve been trying every year.

Read my previous post in this thread. They don’t show up to games and if they do show they sit on their hands the entire game even during 27-7 runs to close out a game against a quality opponent. Last night the the atmosphere was great but the 100 sections court side refused stand, clap or make any noise.

For years, the students were called out for not showing up for OOC games. Students are there making noise and into the game.

It’s fair to call out the old farts that barely acknowledge a basketball game is being played.

and as someone else pointed out, they, we, have been there all along through thick and thin, mostly thin, supporting the program, you sound like you have a future with the TAF, you can't be a real fan, you don't give enough money

You don’t think I supported program while I away. You know how hard it was to watch a Trent Johnson team on a shitty internet stream at 2 AM in England? I’ve been riding with this program for 30 years. I’m sure these guys and gals have been much longer than I. I respect the hell out of that but at the same time. I will be able to know that if I am not comfortable standing for the majority of the game I should not be sitting in the 100s.

Tell him I will take his extra A&M tickets. Yeah, I didn’t renew my football tickets two years because of the that… I was hoping to roll that money over into my Basketball tickets and Baseball tickets. Baseball I had some luck and Basketball I unfortunately wasn’t able to relocate into the 100.
