And you have no rational argument to oppose someone you disagree with so you kill the messenger!

Is the vet infallible. You: no answer!
Could the vet be acting on a bias and not medical reasoning? You: no answer!
Did he say this is my opinion, but as a good medical professional I recommend a second or third opinion? You: no answer!

Wow you really bowled me over with your logic!

Mike is likely one of those house cats that hides under the couch when anyone comes over. Very few cats are social, especially tigers. Pretty solitary animal.

Nice attempt right there.

So how many times did they try to get Mike in the cage? Was it around the time he normally eats? Have they tried to get him in the cage since?

I’m not convoluting anything. So now the argument has nothing to do with the tiger sanctuary or the health of the tiger. It’s just that he didn’t want to do it. I guess you didn’t like the way those arguments were going.

It’s not as if making an appearance is going to kill him. The entire point, made by his vet, is that he clearly didn’t want to get in the cage and that was likely due to him not enjoying what comes after getting in the cage- the large crowds.

This is exactly how this has played out since I believe 2013 or 2014.

Are you suggesting we force him? Honest question.

Its been well before that.

I used to manage one of the farms at LSU for years. The caretakers of Mike came to me to see what we could do to get him in the cage. We eventually ended up recording the sounds of our poultry unit which had about 200 chickens in it. When we would have dead chickens, they were put in the back of the cage next to a radio playing the recorded chicken sounds. This wouldnt even get him in there.

I stopped managing the farm in 2009 and I want to say this was maybe 2 years or so before that.

Mike would rather stay home, watch the game on TV and not have to deal with traffic, drunks and fights in the stands.

Because the types of people who have tigers for sale aren't the types of people who are good with a tiger being put in a cage and taken around a stadium

We made concession when we were buying
