But a bigger impact was injury - both Gordon and Moore.

Offense stagnates due to injuries to walk on fullback and 300 pound TE, despite having generationl RB and an arsenal of 4 and 5* reveivers.

They just have Les' offense figured out. LSU may do all right early in the season but they seem to have a limited play book and by the time November comes around the gig is up. I'll just say this; we have a limited "menu"

I don't think they are bad, just got manhandled by bama. Then you saw the injuries creep in and had 3 true frosh blocking at times.

The talent is there, but young. Last years oline haul was pretty dang good compared to previous cycles.

Weak at the guards.

FIFY. I don't think it was necessarily youth. I think it was more a matter of strength. When they were stronger than the DTs they faced (i.e. early in the year and at times against A&M) they opened holes. When they faced the big boys at Bama, Ole Miss, and Arky, they were constantly pushed back or out of the way. Those three teams were able to get way too much penetration into our backfield which gave Fournette no chance.

Pretty sad when the best RB in the country can't run without a TE and fullback on every play.

You entirely missed the point. Unless I missed sarcasm.

Minus McNeese game this O Line still helped produce LSU's single season rushing leader in LF. Hardly a "bad" group!! Scheme was biggest issue against the better teams as when Bama put 8 NFL caliber players in the box WTH you expect. Certainly needed better play as scheme was not everything but your assessment tells me you you know little about line play. Best single season rushing total in LSU's HISTORY and you think this group sucks??

undisciplined. Vadal needs to be at guard and Pocic needs to be somewhere else besides center.

And I think this is where the offense is limited. No adaptability.

We tried this against Arky. We spread it out and tried running it and we weren't near as effective. Starting 2 freshman on the O line in the most physical conference in the country isn't good. RB is the easiest position to transition from high school to college and it took LF7 a year to figure out. Those freshman guards will be big time next year and the following years.
