The role of the "right hand man" is greatly undervalued in our culture.
A lot of executive missteps could be prevented if they had trusted advisors outside of the normal hierarchy.
So Coach O is a visionary.

Its pretty simple guys. He will be Coach O's assistant and right hand mand
Ponamsky interviewed Coach O every single week while he was out of a job. Ponamsky did everything he could to help out O and keep him in the LSU administrations thoughts. O gets the job and wants to repay Ponamsky. There is a lot of administrative and organizational roles that need to be filled.
Im happy for Ponamsky as I am sure this was a dream of his to be on the LSU football staff. I know 99% of this fanbase would quit their job in a split second to do the same.

So, what kind of money is Ponamsky gonna make from LSU?

I feel bad for Culotta here,
Jordy is good at what he does, and He and Ponamsky had a great thing going. Best show on radio hands down IMO. Great combo. Really sucks for Baton Rouge radio too that Ponamsky is now out of it.
Similar thing happened to Culotta several years ago when he and T bob had a show together. They had a good show going, then one day T Bob just doesnt show up, goes to Nola to work, basically just leaving Culotta hanging out to dry.

Saban has 134 coaches on his staff, LSU has the highest paid staff in the country, or did, so why can't Coach O add anyone to any position he wants? Sounds like the "guy" in the press box whose sole responsibility will be watching the clock is a new position, too?

PR and media guy for O to do everything possible for O to get the job permanently, general flunkey and payback for lobbying for O to get D-line job.

if O doesn't get the job, DP will likely be back to the radio.
Just as Miles' gopher was ousted along with him, DP likely wouldn't survive a regime change.

Wait is this well above average or normal?
Seems like a lot when theres more coaches on staff than players

Didn't he help coach get his job? By pumping him up on the radio?
Oh god! Not this shite again.
Didnt we just get rid of a guy who was a nepotistic, good ole boy, back-slapper? What is it with this State and peoples "buddies"? If I had hiring responsibilities the LAST people I would hire are my friends and family. I want people who are actually good at their job.
What happened to all that shite CEO was spouting about accountability in the coaching ranks?
