If our DBs can’t then there isn’t a set of DBs in the country that can.

Our db's can cover anyone but as you mentioned without pressure on tua it won't matter he will pick us apart he is just that accurate with his throws.

We're about to find out.

The real problem is they can't go one on one for long, so getting the ball out of his hands quickly is the goal.

Gary Danielson said Georgia’s db’s were the only ones that could.

Yes I believe they can but BAMA will make some plays they are to good not to.

I think BAMA will try and do to LSU what they did in 2011 NC game. They will run receivers deep to clear out the middle and throw to the tightend especially with White being out the first half. LSU also has a tendency to blitz its linebackers.

BAMA tight end is huge and a mismatch for a nickelback.

Only good thing is if I know this I'm sure Aranda knows this.

The Refs will make sure that our DB's stay a foot away from their receivers at all time... guaranteed.

Our DBs cannot go one-on-one with any receivers if the offense knows we’re doing it. The trick is to hide coverages. Trick the offense into a rub route against a zone, or a flood against man. Most fans don’t realize this, but it’s rare that we ask our DBs to cover man all over the field. They might have a safety over the top or inside help, and that’s what enables a DB to cover a WR with similar athletic skills.

If we sit in straight man coverage all night they would score in the 60’s.

Yes, for 3 to 3.5 seconds. Longer than that then the Alabama WRs will break free or get some separation. Possibly 4 seconds for Greedy because he is that good.

They can for about 4 seconds. If the receivers have time to break off a route and run to an open area and Tua identifies, it they can't.

Basically, if you're bringing pressure you gotta get there in 3-4 seconds or at least take him off his timing and throw on the move. Tua can throw well on the move, but no one throws as well on the run as they do on time from the pocket.

Yes...impressed as anyone with BAMA QB Tau and their WRs, escpeically #4. But confident knowing we have 3 future 1st round NFL draft picks in our secondary in Delpit and our 2 Corners. Their big TE in the middle is concerning though.

Wonder what the over/under is on PI calls against LSU in the game?

I believe that they can.

However significant the loss of DW40 might be for a half, I think that it would have hurt more to lose one of our DBs.

Don’t be shocked if the Alabama Zebras take out one or more DB’s in the first half with more BS calls
