Don’t be shocked if the Alabama Zebras take out one or more DB’s in the first half with more BS calls

I bet that they'll be on their best behavior. They know how volatile the situation is and the place could explode if they get cute.

Short answer, YES!

Long answer, LSU will have to put DBs one on one with their WRs! To do this, DBs will have...HAVE to press them at the line, play physical to re-route the WRs and get timing off. While doing this, the DL will have to wreck havoc on Tua in the pocket.

Defense will have to man/press on the outside, double safety over top, LBs (don't bite on playaction) running zone underneath and run multiple looks and exotic blitzes.

I only fear John battle getting matched up one on one with someone other than the TE it won’t be good

Tua’s an excellent QB, but it is the stable of big strong receivers that make him look so good. He can throw the ball in their vicinity and they have a very good chance of making the catch because their size allows them to fight for the ball. The fact that they have several receivers that fit the mold is worrisome due to the reality that they can run fresh legs out there against LSU defenders that are chasing them down every play.

LSU’s DBs are good enough to cover, but they will get burned a few times. Then it becomes a question of whether the bad plays are just big gains or TDs. And be prepared for the first offensive play from Bama being a deep pass, as well as being prepared for the deep pass if LSU gets them pinned inside the 10 yard line (they seem to burn LSU every year on this).

They can, but if we’re not careful, they’ll dink and dunk us to death with a bunch of curls and slants.

Our DBs are great. Can we get to their qb. We need queen to blitz Tua.
