I’m thinking he is trying to preserve himself from injury. He used to pull it and run if he had the open field in front of him.

Allar is a better player than Nuss. He's improved a ton since last season and can now run the ball

Allar threw the ball 43 times for 391 yards against USC. He also had 3 interceptions in that game… he doesn’t have another game in which he has more than 24 pass attempts.
Penn State also averages 197 rushing yards yards per game compared to LSU’s 115 rush yards per game.

That still doesn’t add up to 320 yards.
Throw in Nuss’ 20 TDs and it’s a no brainer.
I dare say if Nuss had a rushing game like PSU does, he’d be in the AA conversation for sure.
But it is what it is. Since we can’t run the ball Nuss has to throw it and everyone knows this.

I'd be happy if LSU would just run a misdirection pitch/pass play like the one OSU just scored on. That would be considered a trick play in our playbook
