How bout the titles that matter? Still just one for Maineiri?

They don’t respect Saban and Bertman for their SEC titles, it’s the number of national titles that bring them all the respect.

Don’t compare Maineiri to being one of the best until he has more than one title. One and done just like Miles so far, is Miles one of the greatest? LMAO at your intellect.

Clearly these are outliers and not indicative of Mainieri's inability to properly manage a coaching or pitching rotation. Surely the retards bitching about his program management from recruiting to managing a pitching staff could name tons of coaches who have a better resume

CPM doesn't have a strategy. He coaches by guessing. Why did Sanders not start. Gilbert has not been pitching well.

Clearly one and done coaches like Miles and Maineiri are similar to Saban and Bertman. All great coaches! LMAO again at your intellect.

Coach M had a strategy, either provide an opportunity for those not pitching well to improve or build on the confidence of those who are.

Excuse me and others for wanting to beat Ole Piss for the SEC title.

All SEC titles matter, however all national titles matter more. Can’t call Maineiri one of the greatest like Bertman or Saban, our baseball coach is more comparable to Miles, who was one and done.

Saban doesn't coach baseball. Why don't you name for us all of the active college baseball coaches with more than one national championship?

Here comes the "those coaches aren't at LSU and if they were they would have more than 1" response in 3, 2, 1 ...

I realize it's rear window thinking but I wanted Cam to start today before it was announced that Gilbert would start. He's been really sharp lately and I would've gone with my gut feeling even if it was for 3 or 4 innings then maybe Fontenot. I don't know what happened to Gilbert's mechanics this year it's like a golfer that was going great then they can't do shite.

I'll help him. Paul Casey at Oregon State has two. Jim Morris just retired from Miami. He has two. If you expect every coach we hire to be Skip Bertman you might as well just quit watching. Only Skip and Rod Dedeaux at USC have had that kind of success. Mike Martin has the most wins in history and zero national titles.

I don't get why it's either championship every year or suck. There's a lot in between those two. Sure, I would love for Mainieri to have another championship, but the crowd that says he sucks or needs to be fired is ridiculous.

I don’t have the expertise to criticize such an accomplished coach like PM.

On the other hand..you’re an imbecile

The team batting average is closer to .300 than it is .240. You're irrational and uninformed.

LSU got curb stomped because Maneiri wasn’t ready to win this.

I think we lost today because we simply didn't have the arms. We did better than expected in the tournament, I think he took a realistic approach.

Let's be honest, we went into the season knowing this was going to be a young team, I think we did as good as could be expected.
