Can anyone defend the decision to pitch to mendoza

Yes. He didn’t want to take fontenot out. If he intentionally walks him Fontenot is coming out the game

Walking the next two batters and having a force out at any base is a better option than pitching to 2nd round Pick Mendoza in that situation.

Mendoza has a lot of strikeouts. Their batter on deck is just as good and strikesout a lot less. Pick your poison. Facts are facts but like usual many of you will continue to ignore facts
