To all the "Slive hates us" and "Fire Alleva" crowd:

1. The SEC wants the top available team after the BCS pics to to to Orlando. Period. If that team is an SEC East team, it really wants them there. Period.

2. The Cotton will takes Texas A&M every chance it gets. Period.

3. The Outback will 9 times out of 10 take an SEC East team. Period.

If you wanna blame anyone, blame the bowl people.

Remember when LSU used to have some clout in college athletics? I do. Lots of people don't though, since for the last four years the current AD has been getting walked all over by the SEC and the NCAA.

I do blame the bowls. The team, coaches, and AD had no control over which bowl LSU ended up in. But #21 Louisville and unranked Wisconsin playing in BCS bowls is a joke.

So where was the SEC in 2005? Not only did they not get LSU in Cap1, they failed to get LSU in the Cotton.

Yet they tried to force Georgia on the Cotton this year and lucked out when Nebraska lost and were able to plug UGA into Cap1.

When was this? How did we flex our muscle, and tell the SEC how it was gonna be?

I don't really have an opinion on Alleva. I just wanted to see if you could back your post up. Can you?

1969 Team voted to not go to a bowl after the Cotton Bowl invited ND to play No.1 Texas.... I sure wish this team would do the same thing...

what about the SEC giving Bama Kentucky next year while giving LSU UGA? Did Alleva even say a word about it?

so you think alleva has been strong with his actions and statements on championships along with scheduling??

:rotflmao:

you also know nothing about previous administrations or do not pay attention to past AD's compared to this clown.

You would encourage the team to vote to decline an extra month of practice?

Seems like a great idea....
