Call me a wimp but I cried this morning when I saw the news.

Skip even affected people he never met. That’s for damn sure.

It is sad. We mourn people that affected us in positive, lasting ways. We hang on to them, because they're rare.
The fact that you cried means you're a good person.

Got messages from Arkansas friends that were saddened by the news. It is that deep man. Coach Skip had a place in everyone’s heart.

I was 14 years old, at my first ever baseball regional, a guy I’ve just met - who we were tailgating with (Popcorn, RIP) - says “come on, I told this guy to wait here for us”. Walk up, and it’s Skip, the current AD at the time. Waiting in the middle of Skip Bergman Ave to speak with me. Was as chill and interested as you can be, about me, my athletic abilities, desire to be an LSU student-athlete etc.

Was an impressionable moment for sure. RIP GOAT.
