There’s no real approach at the plate

I’m telling you. Mathis had a solid hit and Beloso had the liner. Every other solid barrel in the ball contact has been a foul ball and then we immediately follow it up with either an easy grounder, pop up, or whiff.

Thats... disappointing. Top of the lineup gives ya basically nothing. Man we are slumping pretty hard as a team. Ironically the guys who were slumping before (Mathis, Hughes) have been doing well...

At least our defense has played pretty well overall tonight. Mathis with the past ball that is basically the lead right now, but he's been pretty good at blocking the ball this season so I'll try not to be too hard on him there.
