bullshite! Nearly every head coach at a P5 school and numerous second tier schools are more qualified than the current LSU head coach. He is at best an average to good defensive line coach by trade.
He may be able to overcome his deficiencies with extremely talented staffs that will need to be reassembled every year in order to compete, but don't give me this horseshite that 0 was actually a viable hire based on LSU's position in the college football landscape.
0 was absolutely hired due to the fact that he spoke with a coonass accent and he was the path of least resistance for a lazy/incompetent athletic director!

The team performed in outstanding fashion during O's interim - setting all sorts of records. He has placed perhaps the best Coordinator tandem in America behind him.
