Caitlin Clark has a Larry Bird like presence on the court

Caitlin Clark's playing style reminds of Larry Bird in that she has a presence that says she owns the court. She plays with an edge with an understated smack talk. Clark has a level of anticipation that is next level and makes everyone around her better. She demands the ball in clutch moments and finds a way to deliver.

LSU may have enough defense to keep he from running wild tomorrow, but its going to take a total commitment to being disciplined and not overplaying and setting up easy baskets.

Her demeanor Actually reminds me of Mulky at Tech…but Mulky was much more of a floor general than scorer.

Hate to say it but I predict based on what I’ve seen it’s going to be very hard to beat Iowa.

We play too loose on the outside and almost got burned for too many 3s last night.
Tomorrow will be in another level. Clark hits 36+ and we probably lose the game.

We’ve been playing suffocating defense the last few games and wearing teams out. We do that again and we win.

Crazy stat:

Caitlin Clark has scored more postseason points (235) this year than Iowa football scored all season long (230).

There is no coach better than KM to scheme against a guard like Clark. LSU has a better shot playing Iowa than they would have vs SC.

Clark is one big problem. Do you double her? Blitz the ball screens? Her passing and awareness make those options questionable.

LSU's outside shooting is another problem. Just like Iowa did not guard certain South Carolina players on the perimeter, they will do the same with LSU and add bodies to handle Angel.

The third problem is pace. Does a faster pace help or hurt the Tigers? Iowa seems to like it fast.

Jesus...they're not invincible lol. They have 6 loses on the season and some were REALLY ugly (20+ margin). They're good and Clark will get hers, but they're definitely beatable. You've got to disrupt her the entire game from the minute the ball is tipped and set the tone. Make the rest of the team beat you. Some of y'all make it seem like we shouldn't even play the game.

It's the national championship game. Both teams will be hard to beat.

The fact is she was 5 of 17 from 3 and everyone is acting like she’s Steph.

She may be the best female bball player ever, but I don't see the Larry comparison. USCe had no-one on the court who could stop her from blowing by them for layups.

We need to put our best and quickest defender on her everywhere on the court. Otherwise she will be a thorn in our flesh...

I would hound her all over the court and hope she wears down. You have to force her to play defense and hopefully she gets into foul trouble.
